Historical landmarks, cultural venues, surfing spots, tech startups, great colleges – Ventura truly has it all. Located along US Highway 101, this city is home to more than 100,000 people who enjoy the slow pace of life and strong sense of community.

It’s one of the stops on Amtrak’s coastal route. A trolley service takes residents from downtown to Harbor Village, and much of the city is walkable. The housing stock is comprised of single-family homes, townhomes, and condos.

The stunning coastline and mild climate make Ventura ideal for offers a glimpse into Oxnard’s rich architectural legacy swimming, beach volleyball, and surfing.

Residents gather and go for leisurely stroll along the Ventura Pier, an excellent fishing spot, during the weekly Pier Walk. The Ventura County Fair, which takes place at Seaside Park during the summer, boasts rides and food stalls.

Historic sites like Mission San Buenaventura and Olivas Adobe, as well as the Ventura Museum’s renowned collections, never cease to amaze.

Downtown Ventura features antique shops, specialty stores, galleries, music venues, and green spaces. Restaurants serving cuisine ranging from Korean and Japanese to Cajun and Mexican can be found here.

The Ventura Ventures Technology Center, a business incubator aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, is also located downtown.
